Talk to elders and make sure he takes care
Its his duty to care and look after them otherwise why did he get married. The main role of a husband in islam is to provide and to protect and care. It sounds inhumane for him not to care if theyre going throught hardship. He must make sure he is praying his salah, reading quran to make him closer to Allah. Inshallah his love for his family will grow and he will care for them. It’s important he helps them.
